Society of the Fathers of Holy Cross - COVID 19 Relief Work
The various units under the Society of the Fathers of Holy Cross spread over Northeast India,guided by its Chairman, took initiatives to reach out to the people affected by the Lockdown in the states of Tripura, Mizoram, Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh by distributing the essential commodities to the needy. The society has also offered to the respective governments of the States in the Northeast its centers for the quarantine facilities. Namely:-

Holy Cross School - Umkiang, Jaintia Hills Dist., Meghalaya
Holy Cross School - Kathalcherra, DhalaiDist, Tripura
ASHA Holy Cross - Agartala, West Tripura Dist., Tripura
The Society
contributed INR 500,000.00 to the Chief Minister\'s Relief Fund of Tripura State.
The different units also contributed to the Relief Fund in their capacity to
the various local authorities. In collaboration with ASHA the society has
initiated the free distribution of Masks, food grains and essential materials
to the people in need. It’s a time that calls us to reach out to people in need
in line with the objectives of the society who depend on daily work for their
sustenance.
