GALORE OF BLESSINGS UPON SAMS

We began the month of May with the Feast of St. Joseph, the Worker. A solemn Eucharistic Celebration marked the day. The candidates who excelled in their University exams were honoured with prizes. It was a month of loss and gain: 47 rubber-trees became victims to the heavy rainy cum stormy weather in Tripura. We were, at the same time, grateful to God for four of our friends who were going to the Novitiate from SAMS. They were warmly given a send-off on 22nd May 18. On 31st May, we had a Marian Procession and thanksgiving Eucharist at Lefunga with the faithful.

Months of June & July brought abundant blessings to us. On 6th June 18, Fr. John Valanarasu csc brought 21 new candidates from Sumer to be deposited in SAMS. Their presence, indeed, adds life and joy to the community here. 6th & 7th July 18 were the Recollection Days. SAMS went through a meaningful Word & Worship recollection, animated by Fr. Paul CR csc and Fr. Arbok csc, on the theme: Lord, open my eyes. Everything in the compound vibrated with ALLELUIAs. We joyfully celebrated the Birth-Day of Fr. Iswar csc {Administrator: SAMS} on 8th & 9th June 18. On 12th June 18, the Formative - Year 2018-19 had its formal beginning at SAMS. The Holy Eucharist was presided over by Rt. Rev. Lumen Monteiro csc {Bishop: Diocese of Agartala}. Understandably, the day ended with a well-prepared short and sweet cultural program.

As of now, SAMS accommodates 60 candidates, doing college and higher secondary studies.

We believe that your visits to SAMS and your stay with us here will immensely add to our quality-life as it will enhance our motivation.
