Easter Activities at Nyapin-Arunachal Pradesh
The newly erected St Andre Parish, Nyapin, is the second Holy Cross Parish in Arunachal Pradesh. The parish priest Fr. Francis Sebastian, CSC and Fr. Gabriel Darlong, CSC the assistant have been concentrating in the faith formation of the parishioner. In order to reach out to all the faithful of the parish, they have been touring tirelessly on foot during Easter season, bringing the good news of the risen Christ to the faithful. They travelled for days, from one village to the other, blessing houses and celebrating Holy Eucharist wherever possible. The welcoming attitude and hospitality of the people are the source of their strength and happiness. People are thirsting for the word of God, ever ready to welcome the missionaries and ready to help them in whatever way possible. The harvest is rich but the workers are few. We pray that many more missionaries may volunteer to take care these children of God.
