Blessing of Marcel Block at Holy Cross School, Agartala (April 6, 2016)
The Holy Cross School, Agartala has been growing leaps and bound. With its quality education of hearts and mind, it has been the best and most sort after school in the state of Tripura for the last 40 years. In order to provide the best facilities to the students, the Holy Cross Educational Foundation had taken great effort to put up a new multipurpose block which is called �Marcel Block� named in memory of Rev. Marcel, CSC, the founding father.
Marcel Block was blessed by Rev. Fr KJ Abraham, CSC, the provincial superior of the fathers of Holy Cross, northeast province on April 6, 2016. Some of the Holy Cross fathers, religious sisters, Staff and students were present on this special occasion.
In a short program organized in the newly built school auditorium, the principal Fr. Kanikkai, CSC welcomed the guests by honoring them with bouquets of flower. He also felicitated about 10 of the staff members who were awarded for their punctuality and regularity attendance for the last few years.
In his speech, the provincial thanked the benefactors, the management and all those who were involved in the construction and blessing of this new block, and for their hard work and dedication. The prayer dance by Class IX students invoked the presence of God and the classical dance performed by class II & III students was well appreciated. The program was concluded with a thanks giving song, to give gratitude to God for all the blessings.
