Blessing and inauguration of A new block of Holy Cross School, Tuikarmaw
Holy Cross School, Tuikarmaw, was established in 1992.
It is under TBSE and there are about 900 students from Nursery to Class X. In
order to accommodate the growing number of students, the new block was
constructed to provide better facilities and class rooms to the students. The
new block was inaugurated by Shri. Manindra Reang, Honorable Minster for Jail
and PGP, Government of Tripura and blessed by Most Rev. Lumen Monteiro, CSC,
DD, the Bishop of Agartala, in the presence of Rev. Fr. K.J. Abraham CSC,
provincial superior of the fathers of Holy Cross, northeast province on 29th
March, 2016. Many other dignitaries including the local SDM, priests, religious
and a large number of parents and well wishers were also present on this
occasion.
The chief guest appreciated the work of Holy
Cross Fathers for their commitment and dedication in serving the people of
Tripura and the great contributions they made in the field of Education. He
promised to extend any kind of assistance for the growth of the school and the
welfare of the students as well.
