An Ecumenical Advance Christmas Celebrations at Dharmanagar.
An Ecumenical Advance Christmas Celebrations was organized at Dharmanagar town for the first time under the leadership of Holy Cross Parish, Bagbasa, North Tripura. Hundred of Christians belonging to different denominations came out to participate in this unique way of proclaiming the good news of the nativity of Jesus Christ to the people and wishing them a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
For the first time, all the Christian denominations came together to wish the people a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. A joyful and peaceful candle procession which began from ISBT to BBI ground in Dharmanagar on 22nd December, 2015, singing carols and wishing the people a Merry Christmas. It was followed by two hours entertainment programme and orchestra performed by different artists on the stage. The local MLA, who was the chief Guest of this occasion exhorted the people to work peace and harmony in the society is the responsibility of the different religion. We must maintain good relationship and religious tolerance which will bring even development of our country.
